How to Measure Your Blouse Size Accurately at Home Before Buying Online
Step-by-step instructions on measuring your bust and shoulder width so your readymade blouse fits comfortably without alterations.
Buying a readymade blouse online is super quick, but the biggest fear most women have is: "What if the size turns out wrong?"
Getting your readymade blouse size right is actually very simple if you know how to measure yourself with an inch tape at home. Here is a 2-minute measurement guide.
1. Measure Around the Fullest Part of Your Bust
Stand straight while wearing your regular bra. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape is level across your back.
- If your tape measures 34 inches → Order Size 34.
- If your tape measures 36 inches → Order Size 36.
- If your tape measures 38 inches → Order Size 38.

2. The Odd Number Rule (Round Up)
If your measurement comes out to an odd number like 35 or 37 inches, always choose the next size up (e.g. Size 36 or Size 38). Pure cotton blouses feel much more comfortable when they aren't uncomfortably tight.
